Women’s Basketball … Four letters in four years. Mary Carol scored a total of 1,355 points and had a total of 1,070 rebounds in her career, becoming the first 1,000-point scorer and 1,000 rebounder in F.S.U. women’s basketball history.

Played in all 94 games of her career, testimony to her conditioning and heart.
Her best statistical season was in 1982-83, her senior year, when she scored 392 points with a 15.7 point per game record, and had 292 rebounds for an average of 11.6 per game.

As a sophomore she shot over 50% from the field(52.9%) and scored 15.5 points per game. Her career free throw percentage was a solid 68.8%.
