Football … Four letters in four years. One of the greatest defensive tackles in F.S.U. history. At 6’3”, 225 pounds, he had the quickness and speed of a running back.
All NAIA District tackle, 1976. Team Most Valuable Player, 1976 and 1977.

After a sensational freshman year in which he started eight games, Glenn started every game at tackle the rest of his career. As a senior he was moved to nose tackle where his quickness was invaluable in disrupting the center-quarterback exchange.
Defensive statistics are unavailable for his first three seasons, but his numerous were very much like those of his senior year. As a senior in the 1977 season, Glenn had 32 solo tackles and 74 assists for 106 total tackles. In addition he recovered three fumbles and had two quarterback sacks, all figures being considered high for a nose tackle.

Glenn was Frostburg State’s greatest football player during the mid-1970’s, often a “one-man” gang who was all over the field on defense, playing on teams which were usually young and generally unsuccessful.
