ECAC South All-Star Team, 1984-85. Maryland All-State, 1st Team, 1984-85.
Frostburg Recreation Departments Female Athlete of the Year, 1984-85.

A transfer from Hagerstown Junior College, Kathy set the F.S.U. seasonal record for field goal percentage (55.1% in ’84-’85) and the two-year career record in rebounding average (11.1 per game). Led the team with 99 steals and 39 blocked shots with a 80% free throw average and 289 rebounds.

During her playing career, F.S.U. was 38-13, received an NCAA bid and won an ECAC South championship.

An F.S.U. assistant coach for thee years (1985-88), a period in which Frostburg won two ECAC South championships and had a 53-29 record.

Tennis … Four letters in four years. Two graduate school years allowed Kathy four years of tennis. She was the 1986 ESAC #1 doubles champion and led F.S.U. to the ’86 ESAC tournament championship. She had a 26-16 record as the #1 player for two seasons, and was a phenomenal 38-4 at #1 doubles for four seasons.
