Football … Four letters in four seasons. Outstanding offensive guard and defensive linebacker. Regarded by most as one of the very best offensive linemen ever to play at Frostburg State, Vic had the speed of a running back.

Started every game in his four-year career. As a team co-captain in 1964, he was named lineman of the week several times. Played on the ’64 team which upset #1 ranked Waynesburg, 14-13.

Coaching…Following graduation in 1965, Vic remained at his alma mater as an assistant coach of football from ’65 through 1973. As the offensive line coach, he helped develop other FSU Hall-of-Famers Mike Davis, Mike Rowe, Bill Spalding, John Volkerding, Bob Maddox and Dick Messier. Has remained in football coaching at the high school level and youth league levels since.

Track … Vic earned his letter the one year he ran track at Frostburg.
