Baseball …
All-American mention, '71. All District '70 and '71. Team MVP '70 and '71. All- T.S.C.B.C.A. all-star game '70 and '71. At time of induction held FSC career records in at bats, hits (143), RBIs (109), doubles (23) total bases (216) and fewest S.O.'s (18 in 477 at-bats). His career batting average (.343) is 3rd highest in FSC history with B.A.s of .298, .325, .342, and .383. His 10 career H.R.'s ties for 2nd on All-time FSC list. Outstanding at 2nd base and outfield, George also was an excellent relief pitcher. He holds FSC records for relief appearance in a season (13) and in a career (34). Pitched in 46 games, 3rd highest in FMC history. Won 14, Lost 11.


Basketball …
Renowned for his fantastic defense and passing ability, George is considered by many to be the best all-around player in FSC history. 995 career points, 8th on the All-time list. A reluctant shooter, he averaged 10.6 points per game (211, 253, 226, 305 totals). He shot 50.3% from the floor and 75% from the foul line. All P.I.C. tournament team ('70 and '71) and all M.I.C. ('67-'68). Teams M.V.P. in '70-'71. Shared M.V.P. in '67-'68.

"Filled in" one season. Played in a few matches.

Letters … Earned eight letters - four each in baseball and basketball.
