Baseball … A left-handed hitting first baseman who held numerous FSC batting records at the time of induction.

Seasonal Records: most at bats (146), most hits (51, tied with 3 others), most RBI’s (48) and most sacrifice bunts (11) – all in 1976. Ranks second in doubles (11 in 1977) and fourth in games played (43 in 1976).

Career Records: most hits (145), most RBI’s (115), most doubles (28), most sacrifice bunts (30), most games played, first base (125), highest fielding average, first base (.983), most assists, first base (32). Ranks second in career batting average (.349) and at-bats (416); 3rd in games played (136); 4th in total bases (194); and 7th in slugging average (.466).

Led team in hits all 4 years, in RBI’s 3 years and in at-bats, doubles, total bases and batting average 2 years. Played 2 seasons in the Cape Cod College Summer League, finishing 2nd in batting with a .332 average and making the All-Star Team in 1975.

NAIA All-District 18 first team in 1975 and ’77; 2nd team in 1976, and mention in 1974. Starting first baseman in the 1974 TSCBCA All-Star game. Earned four letters in four seasons.
