Donny Woodard was a four-year starter and is one of the top scorers in the 71-year history of the Frostburg State men's basketball program. Woodard is third in school history in scoring (1,719 pts.) and is first all-time in career three-pointers (200), second in steals (180) and fifth in field goals (632).
Woodard, who started 93 of 106 career games, poured in 537 points as a junior in 1992-93 and earned First Team All-Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) honors. During his career, Woodard helped lead Frostburg to 54 wins and a pair of appearances in the ECAC South Region Finals.
As a junior, Woodard averaged nearly 21 points per game, garnered ESAC First Team honors and helped the Bobcats to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament South Region Championship.
In his final season, Woodard led the team in scoring (452 pts.) and helped FSU to 17 wins and its second-consecutive appearance in the ECAC Tournament South Region Championship.
