Soccer … Played outside-right position. Scored only five goals in his career, but his forte was assists. All-American soccer selection in 1961 and an All-South selection in 1958, 59, 60, 61.

Golf Had a four-year match play record of 37-2. Consistently shooting in the 70’s. Roy placed second in the 1962 NAIA District 31 Tourney and played in the NAIA National Tourney

Track Ran mile, 2-mile and mile relay. Holder of F.S.C. mile record for some time. Roy was undefeated in the event for all three years. He placed second in the NAIA District 31 Championship Meet in the 2-mile in 1959.

MVP … Winner of the Most Outstanding Athlete Award in 1962…Roy earned recognition as the greatest athlete in F.S.C. history up to 1971

Letters … Earned 15 letters - four each in soccer, golf and basketball and three in track.
