Lacrosse … Four letters in four years. Linda played the point position and was co-captain her senior year. She was a member of the first women’s undefeated team which finished 6-0 in 1969. An outstanding defensive player, Linda led the ’69 and ’70 teams to an overall 11-1 record. She was the winner of the team’s Outstanding Defensive Player Award he senior year.

Basketball … Four letters in four years. Linda played under 3 different sets of rules in her 4 years, adjusting to gradual change from the 6-player, forecourt/backcourt game through the roving player period to the present version of women’s basketball. Having been strictly a defensive end player for her first three years, she had developed offensive skills as a senior. A strong rebounder and shot-blocker, Linda had a career high of 18 rebounds in one game.

Linda was awarded the Azhderian Award for earning eight varsity letters.

Club Field Hockey and WRA … a four-year member of the WRA, Linda played two years of field hockey at the level prior to playing on the newly organized Club field hockey team in 1968 and 1969. She received the Blazer award for extensive WRA activity participation. A four-semester Dean’s list student, she received the Physical Education Award for Academic Achievement in 1970.
