Baseball … 1970-73- Outstanding hitter: Had a career batting average of .324 with 122 hits in 127 games played. At time of induction he held the FSC career record for triples with 15. Other career statistics: 94 RBI’s, 81 runs scored, 10 home runs, 13 doubles, 195 total bases and a 519 slugging average. Had individual season B.A.’s of .294, .360, .295 and .327. Led team with 6 triples in homers with 5 in 1971. Held FSC season records defensively at first base with 252 putouts, 272 chances and 29 double plays, all set in 1973. Career fielding average of .971, with but 21 errors 735 chances. Mentioned to NAIA District 18 All-Star team in 1971 and 1972. Played in Tri-State CBCA All-star game in 1971 and 1973. Batted clean-up on FSC’s NAIA World Series team of 1972.

Soccer … 1968, 1970-72- All-South winger in 1968 as a freshman, although he scored but one goal that season. Compiled a total of 16 goals and 12 assists in his career. Missed the 1969 season, but came back to have three more outstanding years; 1970-5 goals, 2 assists; 1971-7 goals, 4 assists; 1972- 3 goals, 6 assists.

Letters … Eight letters - four each in baseball and soccer.
