Kathryn ‘Trina’ Kirsch was a four-year letter winner for the Frostburg women's basketball team and helped the program to 74 wins over her career.
She helped lead the Bobcats to the program's third NCAA Tournament following the 1984-85 season and she helped the Bobcats to the ECAC Tournament in both 1986 and 1988.
She is 13th all-time in program history with 1,207 points and she is fifth with 996 rebounds. Following her playing career, she served as the Bobcats' graduate assistant coach for two seasons and helped the team to 40 wins, including the ECAC Championship in 1990.
An All-American candidate as a senior, Kirsch finished sixth in the nation in scoring after totaling 588 points. She also pulled down 327 rebounds as a senior and both the points and rebounds are second in the single-season record books.
