Greg Cooper was a two-time All-Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) selection and multiple school record holder for the Bobcat football program from 1996-99.
Cooper, the 1999 ACFC Co-Player of the Year, helped Frostburg to 30 wins during his four-year career, two appearances in ECAC Bowl Games and an ACFC Championship as a senior.
Cooper holds receiving records in receptions (181), yards (2,680) and touchdowns (23) in a career, touchdowns in a single season (10) and receptions in a single game (16).
As a senior in 1999, Cooper led the ACFC and FSU in receptions (69), yards (974) and touchdowns (10), finished third in the conference in all-purpose yards (1,176) and ranked 21st in the nation with a 12.5 yard per punt return average. Cooper started all 11 games, garnered ACFC First Team honors and helped the Bobcats to the ACFC Title and an ECAC Southwest Championship game.
Cooper was named to the All-ACFC First Team as a junior in 1998 after finishing second in the league in receptions (49) and receiving yards (729). He finished 30th in the country in punt return average (12.5) and totaled five touchdowns.
Over his first two years, Cooper caught 64 passes for 977 yards and eight touchdowns. He started 16 games and helped the Bobcats to 15 wins.
