Basketball … All-Maryland in 1940-41 season and was named "Best Bet" (The No. 1 college player in the state), played in College All Star Game for the All Starters that year and was game's high scorer with 22 points (11for 14 from the floor), Scored 804 points in his 3 year career…..11th on the all time list. Set a new collegiate record for the Maryland Colleges with his 362 points in 1940-41. Scored 197 points in 1938-39 and 245 in 1939-40. Team was 41-19 during his career. Served as J.V. Coach for the college.
Soccer … All- Maryland 2 years, Played center halfback and led team in scoring all three seasons. Team was 15-44-4 during his career.
Baseball … Second team all-Maryland college pitcher one year. Was outstanding at second base when not pitching.
Letters … Earned nine letters, three in each sport.
