As a junior, Sporer started all 34 games, hit .389, scored 25 runs and was 22-of-25 in stolen base attempts. FSU posted a stellar 29-5 record and earned its first-ever berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Bobcats won a school-record 22-straight games and finished ranked 16th in nation.
