Lisa DeLauter became the first All-American in the history of the Frostburg State field hockey program and enjoyed a standout career for the Bobcats from 1985-88.
 
DeLauter was named an NCAA Regional All-American in each of her four years with FSU, but as a sophomore in 1986, she was named a National All-American following an impressive season. That same year, the Bobcats tied the school record with 15 wins and appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time. Individually, DeLauter was named the Eastern States Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and was named to the ESAC First Team.
 
Over the span of her four-year career, DeLauter helped Frostburg to 49 wins and three NCAA Tournament appearances. She was a two-time co-captain, finished with 17 goals and 11 assists and was named FSU’s MVP following her senior season.
