Lacrosse … Three letters in three years. Played attack. Had single season record of 50 goals and 26 assists. Career season records of 98 goals and 33 assists. Overall F.S.U. was 26-17 during her playing career. Honors include F.S.U. Most Valuable Player (’83), Maryland College Team I (’83), All-South Team IV (’83), Brine All-American South Regional Team (’83), U.S. Women’s Lacrosse Association Division III All-American (’83), F.S.U. Outstanding Attack (’84), Maryland College Team II (’84). F.S.U. placed second in the Maryland College Women’s Lacrosse Association in ’83 and ’84. At the time of her induction Diane held 3rd place in season goals (50) and second in assists (29).

Basketball … Scored 520 points with 165 assists. Named to AIAW East Regional Team in ’81, NCAA Atlantic Regional Team in ’82 and ’83, and was a member of the ECAC South Championship Team in ’84. Played guard. 4 letters in 4 seasons.
Diane received the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award in ’84. Was recognized by the Frostburg Recreation and Parks Department as an Outstanding State Scholar Athlete and an ECAC Scholar Athlete. Received the John Allison Outstanding Senior Award in ’84.

Other … Served as a student athletic trainer for women’s lacrosse, field hockey, and football.
