“Voice of the Bobcats”… As Operations Manager and Sports Director of WFRB from 1967 to 1987, Jeff broadcast F.S.U. football, basketball and baseball games. The “Voice of the Bobcats” has been heard carrying Frostburg sporting events from many points in the East, and from as far away as Phoenix (the 1972 N.A.I.A. baseball tournament).

Sports Information Director/Assistant to Athletic Director…1987 to present (at time of induction). Jeff’s devotion to F.S.U. has taken his influence for beyond the general parameters to sports publications and media guides. His contacts with media from other areas, particularly from Baltimore, Washington and Pittsburgh has spread the name and athletic accomplishments of Frostburg State. He has been influential in the promotion of the Washington Redskins Training Camp, appearances of the Harlem Globetrotters and the Maryland State Games on the campus.

Chairman, Bobcat Club … 1979-1987. Jeff was one of those most involved in the founding of the Bobcat Club. He has served on the Bobcats Hall of Fame committee since 1977.
