Baseball … Three letters in three seasons. FSC recorder holder in home runs (22), extra base hits (44), and total bases in 3 years (199). Led the team in home runs, RBI’s, and games played all 3 years. Career totals in 111 games include: 103 hits, 14 doubles, 8 triples, 37 stolen bases, 73 walks, a slugging avg. of .603, and a batting avg. of .312…with home run seasons of 8, 7, 7. Served as a second baseman on the 1972 NAIA World Series team. Honorable mention All-American at third base (1974), all-area (1973 and 1974), All-District (1973 and 1974) and outstanding defensive infielder at both 3rd and 2nd bases. Drafted in 4th round by the L.A. dodgers in 1974. Six years in professional baseball all class AAA or AA with the Dodgers and Cardinals.

Basketball … Two letters in two seasons. Scored a total of 323 points in 45 games as an outstanding ball-handling guard.
