YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Frostburg State Men's Track & Field team secured an event win and several top-10 finishes at the Youngstown College Invitational on Friday.

Junior Gage Osborne had FSU's top performance on the day, winning his second consecutive mile with another personal best of 4:16.85 that puts him further up the all-time program list, while also in the event, freshman Connor McIntyre secured a PR of 4:32.79. Osborne would also take ninth overall in the 3K, setting another personal high at 8:57.03, as did sophomore Ethan McKeee at 10:03.78. Joining them in an impressive distance showing, senior Brandon Stein placed runner-up in the 5K with a personal best 16:11.33 and sophomore Ben Saltysiak came fifth at 16:25.55.

In the mid-distance events, senior Justin Dowell placed fourth in the 500m (1:09.11), while juniors Jack Hynes (1:58.52) and Jaxon Jones (1:59.31) both earned top-10 spots in the 800m, where classmate Matthew Brennan (2:07.92) and freshman Braydon Mosier (2:09.70) both set PR's.

Redshirt junior Ire Maboudou (15.19m) led a trio of FSU top-10 finishes in the weight throw in fifth, as he was followed by sophomore Willie Washington (14.88m) and junior Dalton Kasekamp (13.74m) in seventh and tenth, respectively, with each of the latter two setting personal records.

Another pair of top-10 placers came in the triple jump, where sophomore Dorian Grubb (13.08m) and freshman Akhili Reece (12.78m) finished seventh and eighth, respectively. Also in the field events, sophomore Adeeb Pender rounded out the Bobcats' top-10 finishes by placing ninth in the pole vault at 3.95m.

Frostburg will next travel to Lexington, Va. for the VMI Invitational to be held from Friday, January 23 through Saturday, January 24. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
