HERSHEY, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team swept Kutztown 7-0 in their neutral site Sunday match.

In commanding fashion, FSU took all three doubles matches, only dropping two games across the three victories. Juniors Ximena Ku and Patricia Castejon took a 6-0 sweep at No. 2, while seniors Julia Ramos and Alyssa Kush and juniors Ella Troxell and Claudia Coombes each earned 6-1 wins at Nos. 1 and 3, respectively.

All six Bobcats went on to win in straight sets during singles play, with not one player losing more than two games in a set. Ku, Castejon, Troxell, and Coombes all took 6-0, 6-0 decisions, while Kush won 6-1, 6-0 and Ramos came away with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.

With the win, Frostburg improves to 4-4 on the year, while Kutztown drops to 2-3. FSU will next have their first home match of the Spring season on Tuesday, March 10 at 2 p.m. against Millersville. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
