INDIANA, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team is set to compete in their first-ever NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament on Friday, May 8, where they will face MEC foe Charleston (WV).
 
FSU sported a 12-10 record this season, making their second Mountain East Conference Tournament appearance in program history. The sixth-seeded Bobcats are led by First Team All-MEC selection, senior Julia Ramos, at the No. 1 spot in singles, while Second Team junior Patricia Castejon also impressed as the No. 3.
 
The Golden Eagles received the three seed, having gone 15-6 on the year and a perfect 6-0 mark in MEC play, while also securing a conference tournament championship. UC is led by the Mountain East Player of the Year in Sara Martinez, who is joined in First Team accolades by Michelle Connor and Sofiia Krasikova, while Riva Hondiashvili took Second Team Honors.
 
Charleston defeated Frostburg twice this season, taking a 6-1 victory in the teams' MEC opener before securing a 4-0 win in the conference tournament.
