WEXFORD, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team fell 7-0 to Slippery Rock on Saturday.

For the second consecutive meet, seniors Julia Ramos and Alyssa Kush won their doubles match, picking up a 6-3 decision, however The Rock won each of the next two to earn the scoring point. Juniors Ella Troxell and Claudia Coombes put up a fight in a 6-4 loss.

Again repeating the team's result against IUP, Kush was the lone Bobcat to record a set victory, falling 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. SRU didn't allow another player to take more than four games in any set en route to their 7-0 victory.

With the loss, Frostburg falls to 2-4 on the year while Slippery Rock improves to 1-0 in match play. FSU will remain on the road to face Kutztown on Sunday, February 22 at 12 p.m. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
