NEWARK, Del. - The Frostburg State Women's Wrestling team suffered their second dual loss of the season 34-6 to No. 6 Presbyterian on Friday.
PC began the meet with a 10-0 lead with a forfeit at 103 and a pinfall at 110. Freshman Morgan Layman picked up the first point for FSU in a narrow 2-1 decision loss at 117. The Blue Hose swiftly took control with three consecutive tech falls at 124, 131, and 138.
At 145, sophomore Amber Hunter-Snyder earned the lone Bobcat victory of the day, taking a 7-1 decision. In the 160 bout, freshman Chaniah Bernier had Frostburg's final match point, dropping a 7-2 decision as Presbyterian had a pin at 180 and a double forfeit at 207 for the 34-6 final.
With the loss, FSU drops to 6-2 on the year, while PC improves to 8-2. The Bobcats will return to action in 2026 as they will travel to take part in the Tiffin Tournament on Saturday, January 10. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
