FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Men's Track & Field team finished third overall after the final day of the MEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
On day three, junior Nathaniel Mesy took third in the 400 meter dash final with a time of 49.05, while the team of senior Mark Vaughns, freshman Aiden Schwab, senior Nicholas Richardson, and Mesy finished third as well in the 4x400 meter relay with a 3:25.63 time.
The team of Mesy, Vaughs, freshman Aaron Dufresne, and Richardson earned a fourth place finish in the 4x100 meter relay final, going for a 42.68 time, a result that helped secure the third place finish over fourth-placed Wheeling. Schwab then went on to knot a fifth place finish in the 400 meter hurdles final with a time of 58.01.
Members of the men's team next will attend the WVU Last Chance meet on Saturday, May 6 in Morgantown, WV. Information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.Â
