BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team competed at the Bloomsburg Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in flights of both singles and doubles play.
 
In the doubles matches, the combination of freshman German Diaz and Matt Bolen picked up the first victory in the second round by a score of 6-2. Joining them in the win column was the pairing of freshman Cole Alcala and junior Del Carden with a 6-4 victory.
 
Alcala went on to pick up wins in the first round (6-4, 6-2) and the third round (4-1, 4-2) in singles play. Joining him were senior Mason Hordubay (2-4, 4-2, 10-7) in round two and freshman Noah Fisher (4-1, 4-2) in the third round.
 
The men return to match play on Wednesday, October 19 at home against Shepherd, with play set to begin at 3 p.m. Information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.
