Fighting Falcons Defeat Men's Tennis in Season Finale

FAIRMONT, W. Va. - The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team concluded their regular season with a 7-0 loss against Fairmont State on the road Sunday afternoon. 

Starting out strong, the Fighting Falcons swept the doubles matches to earn the meet point, with the closest match coming at 7-6 in the No. 3 spot, as senior Noah Fisher and freshman Tiago Iser just missed out in a tiebreak loss. 

Fairmont went on to take all six singles matches as well to complete their sweep. Iser (6-2, 5-7, 6-4) and senior German Diaz (4-6, 6-0, ret.) each battled to three-set losses, coming the two closest to earning the Bobcats a point. 

With the loss, Frostburg ends their season at 8-10 on the year, while Fairmont improves to 16-3.
