FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg women's tennis team endured a 9-0 loss to NCAA Division II West Virginia Wesleyan, Friday afternoon.
Senior Jenna Lipinski posted the closest singles match of the day with a 7-5, 6-4 loss at No. 1 singles to Sai Sakamoto. Lipinski and junior Kate Paylor posted an 8-2 loss at No. 1 doubles to Sakamoto and Mariona Junyer.
First-year Shea Przywiexzerski and sophomore Satia Harper dropped No. 2 doubles to Rebecca Osborne and Christina Martinez Oliver.
The Bobcats (5-4) return to action on Sunday when they host Marietta at 1:00 pm.
