FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg women's tennis team pushed its record to 3-0 this fall following another dominating win on Sunday as FSU took down Pitt-Greensburg, 7-2, behind five singles wins and two doubles victories.
Senior Jenna Lipinski won No. 1 singles over Nadine Khalil, 7-6 (7-2), 6-1, while first-year Cherise Jenkins improved to 3-0 in singles play this fall with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Rachel Davis at No. 3 singles.
Junior Sammi Turner and first-year Shea Przywieczerski opened the day with an 8-0 blanking of Hannah Sterrett and Davis at No. 2 doubles.
The Bobcats return to action next Saturday when they host Juniata at 1:00 pm.
