Hilton Head, S.C. - The Frostburg State men's tennis team fell to Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday, 9-0.
 
The Bobcats move to 3-5 overall on the season following their final match of the week in Hilton Head.
 
Junior Aaron Beckner and Junior David Cotton played the tightest doubles match, but dropped the result 8-2 to Brendan Kelleher and Nick Gunther.
 
Cotton also fell to Paul Gladstone in singles (6-2, 6-0) while Senior Jeffery Frost lost a hard-fought singles match from the No. 6 spot by the same score line.
 
The Bobcats return to action on Sunday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. when they travel to Penn State Harrisburg.
