Field Hockey Doubles Up Randolph-Macon, 4-2

ASHLAND, Va. – The Frostburg State field hockey team scored two goals in each half en route to a 4-2 victory over Randolph-Macon, Wednesday.

Senior Alexandra Darrow tallied a first-half assist and notched both of the Bobcats' goals in the second half to lead both teams in scoring.

Senior Ashley Johnson and freshman Samantha Schaffer each added a tally to lift the Bobcats to their first victory of the season. Junior Taylor Bowen and freshmen Erin Barker and Lindsay Gardiner all posted an assist for FSU.

Frostburg (1-2) held a 22-20 shot advantage, but doubled up the shots on goal (14-7) and had four penalty corners in each half to power past the Yellow Jackets (2-2).

Junior keeper Jackie Gover finished the day with five saves in goal for the Bobcats while her counterpart Kelsey Stanley had 10.

Kali Carroll and Renee Greenslade each found the back of the net for Randolph-Macon.
