NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Sophomore Casi Chisholm and junior Christina Smith both posted fourth-place finishes as the Frostburg State University women's track & field team completed day one of the 2014 Capital Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, Saturday afternoon.
 
Day One Results

Chisholm posted a personal record and took fourth place in the hammer throw with a toss of 36.67 meters. Meanwhile, Smith captured fourth in the javelin at 32.97 meters and ninth in the hammer at 32.09 meters.
 
Junior Alexis Bush finished fourth in the 100-meter dash preliminaries in 13.01.
 
Freshman Carol Gotte set a personal best in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 48:43.94.
 
Day two of the CAC Championships start tomorrow at 10:30 am.
