Huntingdon, Pa. – Juniata used four goals in the first half, including two from Paula Price, to defeat the Frostburg State field hockey team, 6-0, Wednesday afternoon.

Juniata (8-2) led Frostburg State (6-5) in both shots (18-2) and penalty corners (16-8). Price netted her first goal in the sixth minute of the game off an assist from Kim Amrod to put the Eagles on the board, 1-0.
At 21:34, Brittany Kauffman scored an unassisted goal to give JC a two-point lead, 2-0, and set the tone for the next seven minutes with two more goals from Juniata. Price knocked in her second goal of the game at the 25:08 mark while just over two minutes later Shauna Deschenes netted a goal off a pass from Jenn Moss, giving the Eagles a 4-0 advantage over the Bobcats going into the break.
Kyra Lehmann opened the second half of the game by scoring an unassisted goal at 38:38 to give JC a five-point lead over FSU, 5-0.
In the 62nd minute of the game, Kauffman netted her second goal of the game and ended the scoring at 6-0.

Brooke Tapman (Pocomoke, Md./Pocomoke) and
Breanne Russell (Clements, Md./Chopticon) each posted one shot for the Bobcats.
