BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Sophomore Mason Buckler was recognized as MEC Wrestler of the Week for the first time in his career, as the award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan. 
 
Buckler had himself a memorable week, being one of three Bobcats to pick up individual wins in the team's 35-14 loss to No. 2 Glenville State on Wednesday.  Buckler showed a revenge win against the Pioneers, wrestling Wiley Houser in the 165 lbs weight class, who Buckler had fallen shy to in the MEC Championship a week prior.  Buckler was able to work his way to a pinfall in 1:41 to take the victory.  Buckler also received a win by forfeit in Frostburg's 35-21 win over Davis & Elkins on Saturday, adding six points to FSU's score.
