MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Women's Track & Field team concluded their 2023 outdoor season on Saturday at the WVU Last Chance meet.
Junior Omokemi Balogun earned a first place finish in the triple jump at a distance of 12.34m, while freshman Tristan Clark had success in the long jump, with a third place finish of 5.05m.
Frostburg tallied two second place finishes with sophomore Aissatou Diallo being runner up in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.12, and freshman Valerie Boards running the 100 meter dash with a 12.47 time.
Other top five finishes for the Bobcats came from freshman Eva Morrison, who finished fourth in the pole vault with a height of 3.5m, and junior Jenna Green coming in fifth in the javelin with a throw of 24.72m.
The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Pueblo, CO starting on Thursday, May 25, with athletes to be announced. Information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.
