#12 Acrobatics & Tumbling vs #1 Baylor Preview

FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling team is set to travel to Waco, TX to face No. 1 Baylor on Wednesday, March 22 at 7 p.m. EST. 

Baylor - The Bears enter the meet with a perfect 4-0 record and have posted two of the highest meet scores of any team in the country at 284.200 and 283.305. BU owns three ranked wins on the year, against No. 15 West Liberty, No. 14 Presbyterian, and No. 5 Oregon. Baylor are seven-time defending national champions, with their head coach Felecia Mulkey having also won an additional four championships as the head coach at Oregon, giving her 11 total for her coaching career. 

Frostburg - The Bobcats also go into the meet undefeated, sporting a 6-0 record this season and twice setting the highest mark in program history, 270.335 and 272.410 points. FSU also has defeated three ranked teams, winning over No. 15 West Liberty, No. 11 King, and No. 7 Fairmont State, marking the first time the latter has lost a conference meet in the MEC. Frostburg is led by third-year head coach Katie Nunley, who has overseen the creation of the program, with a pair of MEC Tournament appearances in each of the past two seasons.
