BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling is set to compete at the Mountain East Conference Championships in Fairmont, WV across Saturday and Sunday.
The Bobcats earned the three seed in the tournament with an overall record of 6-2 and an MEC mark of 4-2, where they will face two seed Glenville State on Saturday at 4 PM. In addition, Frostburg will compete in 11 event finals on Sunday, beginning at 12 PM, with all three heats in the Acro, Pyramid, and Toss events qualifying, as well as the Duo and Quad Tumbling passes.Â
Four athletes received All-MEC honors, with seniors Alicia Mansaray, Callie Miller, and Eleanor Ohngren earning places on the First Team and classmate Lana Marie Cepedea taking a Second Team accolade.Â
