ERIE, Pa. - The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team fell to Mercyhurst on the road with a final score of 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Freshman Alyssa Kush and sophomore Lorena Pintar were victorious in opening play, winning their doubles match 6-3. Alongside them, sophomores Mariaspa Kotsiou and Julia Ramos would get another victory for the Bobcats, winning a close one 7-6 (7-5 tiebreak) to secure the match point. Graduate Immanuella Odiong and sophomore Femke Hofkamp nearly made a clean FSU sweep, but they narrowly lost 7-5 in the final doubles match. 

Pintar was able to get another win for Frostburg and win the only point in singles for the team, winning 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot. Ramos came closest to picking up a win herself, winning set one 6-1 before falling in the next two sets 6-3, 6-4.
