WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Frostburg State men's wrestling program lost on the road to McDaniel on Wednesday evening by a score of 30-14.
 
Coming of a tough trip to the Carolinas, the Bobcats hit the road again to face off against an in-state Division III foe, as the Green Terror are currently ranked 12^th by NWCA in team rankings.
 
After FSU fell behind 6-0 on a fall in the 125 match, junior Thierno Diallo picked up a tech fall for the Bobcats, his third of the year, winning 19-0 to secure five points. The Green Terror then pushed their lead out 19-5 after winning the next three weight classes. Freshman Liam DeBaugh picked the Bobcats up with a 7-6 win by decision to make things 19-8. McDaniel picked up another three straight wins to effectively seal the match result. The final win for FSU, and their only win by fall, came on the last match, as freshman Gavin Bage picked up his fifth pinfall win in 2:15, ending the meet 30-14 in favor of the hosts. 
 
With the loss, the Bobcats are now 4-5 on the season, while McDaniel improves to 2-0. FSU will be back in action tomorrow, December 7 at Marymount where they will face the Saints and Patrick Henry starting at 4 PM. For more information visit frostburgsports.com.
