BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Juniors Kendall Hooper and Nate Canapp were named the MEC Female and Male Swimmers of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office. 

Hooper helped lead the women's team to a dominant win over Fairmont State, totaling four victories in the meet. She was part of both relay teams that won the first and last events of the meet, then also recorded individual wins in both the 200-meter IM and the 200-meter butterfly. 

Canapp recorded a pair of individual wins as the men also took down the Fighting Falcons, winning both the 400- and 800-meter freestyles.
