YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Frostburg State women's track & field team competed at the YSU National Mid-Major event over Friday and Saturday.

The top finish for the Bobcats came from freshman Jasmine Scott finishing fourth in the 500 meters at a time of 1:21.74, the seventh-best mark in program history.

FSU also had a top five finish in the distance medley at 13:24.47 with a group made up of sophomores Elizabeth Stanley, Baby Jimerson, Amy Tarcza and freshman Alana Dyce-Giraud setting the second-fastest time in school history.

Junior Makayla Westry hit 14.95 in the weight throw to earn sixth overall in the throwing events. Freshman Valerie Boards also had a good showing with two top-10 finishes, taking sixth in the 60 meters at 7.84 and eighth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.88. Â
