FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team played host to West Virginia Wesleyan at home on Wednesday afternoon, losing 6-1.

WVWC swept doubles play to earn the first point of the day, with the FSU pairing of junior Caleb Beidle and sophomore Del Carden taking the most games with three. Frostburg put forth a solid effort in the singles matches, keeping all the matches competitive. Freshman Matt Bolen was able to win his match 6-4, 6-3 for FSU's lone win in the meet.
With the loss, FSU falls to 2-9 in the Spring season, while WVWC improves to 9-7 on the year. The home match against Davis & Elkins originally scheduled for Thursday, April 21 has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 24, therefore Frostburg returns to the court Saturday, April 23 for a home match against Salem (WV) scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., where it will be senior day.
