FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team earned their third win of the Spring season at home over Pitt-Greensburg by a final score of 4-3.

Junior Betsy Hixson secured the winning match in singles play, in a 6-3, 7-6 victory to secure the four points necessary for an FSU match win. It was Hixson's first singles appearance of the Spring season, where she was joined by freshman Lorena Pintar (6-3, 6-3), senior Immanuella Odiong (6-4, 6-1), and junior Madison Toothman (6-3, 6-2) in getting the match wins.

In doubles, Pintar and junior Rabiatu Ladan secured the lone doubles win in a 6-2 match, though Pitt-Greensburg would take the doubles point.

Win the win, FSU improves to 3-4 on the Spring season, while Pitt-Greensburg falls to 2-1. The women return to action tomorrow, April 3 for a road match against Lock Haven, with play set for 1 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned at frostburgsports.com.
