Women's Tennis Defeated in Shortened Home Match to Charleston (WV)

FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team faced off against Charleston (WV) in a 4-0 loss, as not every match was able to be completed due to weather. 

In doubles play, freshman Lorena Pintar and junior Rabiatu Ladan took the most games off their opponents with three wins. Pintar also had the most games won in singles play, with a 6-3, 6-2 loss. In matches that didn't finish, junior Jen Dieterle had a 4-3 lead in set one before rain forced the match to be suspended. 

With the loss, the women fall to 4-9 in the Spring season, while UCWV improves to 13-6. Frostburg is back in action on Thursday, April 21 for a home match against Davis & Elkins scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.
