FAIRMONT, W. Va. – The Frostburg State women's tennis dropped its Wednesday road match to Fairmont State, falling 7-0 to the Fighting Falcons.
In the doubles competition, the pairing of junior Betsy Hixson and freshman Sydney Goering pushed within two games of Fairmont, but ultimately fell 6-4. In the singles matches, junior Madison Toothman played a tough match, pushing the second set into a narrow 7-6 tiebreak loss.
