WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team faced off against West Chester in a Sunday road contest, where the Golden Rams prevailed 7-0.
In doubles play, freshman Lorena Pintar and junior Rabiatu Ladan were able to win a pair of sets but ultimately fell 6-2.
Pintar also had a solid match in singles play despite a 6-2, 6-4 defeat, with freshman Sydney Goering and senior Jen Dieterle also battling in straight-set losses.
With the loss, the women's team falls to 1-4 in the Spring season, while WCU improves to 2-3. The women are back in action Wednesday, March 30 for a road contest against Fairmont State, with match play set to begin at 3 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned at frostburgsports.com.
