SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Frostburg State women's track & field program competed at the Jim Taylor Invitational on Saturday at Susquehanna University.
 
The top mark of the day came in the discus, as junior Alexa Bradburn placed fifth overall with a top throw of 36.45 meters.
 
The Bobcats also had a good showing in the 4x100 relay with a time of 52.14, good enough for sixth place. The relay team was made up of freshmen Gabrielle Heard and Aissatou Diallo, redshirt-freshman Emmanuella Godswill, and sophomore Baby Jimerson. Jimerson (27.78), Heard (27.82), and Godswill (27.97) all placed in the top half of the 200-meter dash, as Heard also finished in the top 20 in the 100-meters out of a field of nearly 60 runners, finishing with the same time as sophomore teammate Brianna Stevenson (13.33).
