HERSHEY, Pa. – The Frostburg State women's tennis team faced off against Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon, falling 4-0, as three individual matches were not finished due to time constraints.
Â
In doubles play, the Huskies won each match and picked up the doubles point. Freshman Lorena Pintar and junior Rabiatu Ladan, along with senior Immanuella Odiong and junior Madison Toothman both took a pair of sets in their doubles matches. In the singles matches, Bloomsburg picked up three victories to get to four points overall, as the rest of matches were not completed due to lack of time available. Odiong had the top singles showing of the matches that finished, going a set up before succumbing to back-to-back sets lost.Â
With the loss, the Bobcats now sit at 2-2 in the Spring season, while Bloomsburg improves to 2-1. Frostburg returns to action Sunday, March 27 for an away match against West Chester at 1 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned atÂ
