FROSTBURG, Md. - Â The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team hosted Dominican (N.Y) for their spring home opener Monday afternoon, falling 7-0.

In doubles play, the Bobcats lost the first two match ups, however in the third match, junior Caleb Beidle and sophomore Del Carden took the lone FSU win on the day, winning 7-6. In singles competition, sophomore Origen Grear had a good showing, winning the opening set before narrowly losing the second set tiebreaker and falling 5-10 in the third set. Sophomore Del Carden also went three sets, recovering from a 2-6 first set loss to take the second set 6-1, before losing set three 6-2.Â

The Bobcats now sit at 0-2 in the Spring season, while the Chargers improve to 2-1. Frostburg returns to action Tuesday, March 15 for a road match against Harford Community College at 2:30 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned atÂ
