WHEELING, W. Va.- The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team faced West Liberty in a road meet on Saturday afternoon, falling 7-0.

In doubles play, junior Caleb Beidle and freshman Eli Best took the most sets off their opponents in a 6-3 loss. In singles competition, graduate Desire Johnson came closest to winning a set in a narrow 7-6 tiebreak after a 6-1 first set loss. Freshman Matt Bolen also played a tough match, losing 6-2, 6-4. Â

The Bobcats now sit at 0-1 in the Spring season, while the Hilltoppers improve to 3-0. Frostburg returns to action Tuesday, March 15 for a road match against Harford Community College at 2:30 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned at frostburgsports.com.
