FROSTBURG, Md- Frostburg Sports will be taking a preview of each team competing this spring season over the next couple of weeks to see expectations, key players, and what the overall outlook of each program will be. Next up in the series will be Acrobatics and Tumbling. 
 
Overall: Acrobatics and Tumbling will play its 2nd season in 2022, while competing in the Mountain East for the second season. Head coach Katie Nunley enters her second season at the helm of the program. 
 
Last Season: In their first season, the Bobcats made a semifinal appearance in the MEC Tournament. They went 2-4 on the season and clinched their spot in the MEC Tournament with a regular season finale win over West Virginia Wesleyan.  
 
The Returners: The team returns 12 players that include 10 sophomores (Mayah Morant, Navah Marierose, Kaitlin Bolton, Abbie Baker, Angelique Fink, Alexis Palmieri, Sydney Williamson, Laiken Spahr, Kendra Rabo, and Sydney Green), one junior (Virginia Krasznay), and one senior (Hannah Krumpatch).  
 
The Newcomers: The team welcomes nine newcomers that include Meghan Dunster, Nia Ivanov, Kaitlyn Enea, Kaylee Kosi, Piper Shields, Stephanie Vigezzi, Taylor Longworth, Lydia Bowman, and Taylor Henderson. 
 
The Schedule: The Bobcats will begin play this Sunday, February 13 at Fairmont State where they will have a meet against the Falcons of Fairmont State. Then they will be on the road again the following weekend at Stevenson. They will have their first home meet February 27 against Fairmont state and then two weeks after, they will host a tri-meet against Quinnipiac and Glennville State. The rest of the season will be conference play where they will take on Davis & Elkins, West Virginia Wesleyan, and West Liberty.
